The College of Business at Black Hills State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Business Analytics/Operations Management beginning August 2026. Black Hills State University is a teaching-focused institution located in Spearfish, South Dakota, in the scenic Black Hills region. The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International — a distinction held by fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide — and serves approximately 400 students across campuses in Spearfish and Rapid City. Black Hills State University is seeking an innovative and experienced leader to serve as the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. The College of Business at Black Hills State University seeks to hire an Instructor for a full-time term position in Accounting beginning August 2026. Black Hills State University is a teaching-focused institution located in Spearfish, South Dakota, in the scenic Black Hills region. The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International — a distinction held by fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide — and serves approximately 400 students across campuses in Spearfish and Rapid City. A planned power outage will affect the traffic signals at the intersection of E. Colorado Blvd and 27th St. for several hours starting at 9:00 A.M. on April 8, 2026. The intersection will function as an all-way stop until power is restored.

Proposed uranium in situ leach mine and processing facility. Injection wells will be used to pump groundwater fortified with oxygen and carbon dioxide into the ore deposits to dissolve uranium. Production wells will be used to pump the uranium-laden fluids to the surface for recovery. The fluids from the production wells will be processed at two separate facilities at the mine site to extract and concentrate the uranium.
